CURRENT AND NEW STUDENTS
Welcome to the Faculty of Graduate Studies at Brock University.
Brock's graduate community is extensive. With 37 graduate programs now in place, and more in the process of development, we currently offer graduate programming to more than 1,400 full- and part-time students and will continue to grow in the future. Our commitment to graduate growth and development is an indication of Brock's emerging status as a research-intensive university known for its vigorous intellectual climate.
Within this context, you and your work are very important to us. As you move forward along the paths opened to you by your specific graduate program, you will develop expertise that has the potential to change the world community by community wherever there is traction for the ideas, thoughts and discoveries and innovations that you will contribute to through your work on this campus.
In extra-curricular terms, there is much to enjoy while you are at Brock. The university offers social, cultural and professional events of many kinds. Extensive fitness and wellness programs are available to all who work and study here. And of course there is the beautiful Niagara region to explore. Our natural location is superb. Brock University is distinguished by its status as part of a UNESCO-designated Biosphere Reserve, and the surrounding area includes beautiful wineries, the natural wonder that is Niagara Falls, and the Shaw Festival and related cultural events in historic Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The Faculty of Graduate Studies is here to assist you in every way that we can, as is your Graduate Students' Association, a group that advocates on behalf of all of Brock's graduate students and organizes wonderful social events that you won't want to miss!
On behalf of the entire Faculty of Graduate Studies, I extend best wishes to you and urge you to make the most of and truly enjoy your time with us.
